I love boneyards, the older the better. Memorials to people long forgotten, only a name and date, on weathered stone, hardly readable. Rusted doors and verdigrised copper, dusty stained glass. We try to remember them, the people we never knew.
Time wears everything away…
Faces are forgotten…
STUNNING! You must have a really fine camera. I also like your eye and the things you choose as subjects.
Thank you both.
4cats, these were actually taken over the winter with my old Canon Powershot, basically a glorified point-n-shoot with a big lens. Once we get some more fall color here I plan on taking my new DSLR back to Graceland and Calvary cemeteries for another round.
wow i love the lock shot
That has to be favorite from this trip as well. Thank you!
I love the detail of the lock photo. Nice work!
Thank you. It was the last photo of that day since I had forgotten to charge my batteries, so I’m extra happy about it.
