    That’s an impressive looking bird. I don’t think we have grackles in the UK.

      I’m pretty sure they are strictly a “New World” bird, and mostly North American. They’re considered a bit of pest to people with birdfeeders since they tend drive the smaller birds away and hog everything for themselves but I’ve always liked them. They’re like shiny, sassy crows in my book.
